FAQ
about axe throwing
Most frequent questions and answers
Can kids participate in axe throwing? What is the minimum age to participate?
Children age six and up can throw using standard axes if supervised by a parent or guardian. Children age five and under can throw using plastic axes in our dedicated kid-friendly lane.
Is axe throwing safe?
Axe throwing is very safe! It is important that you listen to and follow all the safety rules, but if you do, it is a very safe sport. It is one of the safest throwing experiences you can have, as our targets are easier to stick (so you don’t have to throw as hard), and our safety-designed target system helps minimize bounces!
Can we bring spectators?
There is limited space in the throwing areas, but if you keep the spectators to a minimum, that should be fine. Keep in mind that all ages can play – age six and up can throw using standard axes if supervised by a parent or guardian. Children age five and under can throw using plastic axes in our dedicated kid-friendly lane.
What should I wear?
CLOSED-TOE SHOES MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES while axe throwing. No one will be permitted to participate without the proper shoes. So, no flip flops, bare feet, sandals, etc. For the rest of your body, loose comfortable clothing is a good idea. Picture the throwing motion, so you will not want to wear anything that restricts that movement.
Can we bring alcohol?
No. But we offer soft drinks and water for purchase.
Can we bring food?
We have beverages and snacks available for purchase. You can order delivery from any restaurant or choose from one of our nearby restaurants and we will bring it to your table when it arrives.
Do you have company team building events?
Yes! In fact, we get a lot of companies that want to do an axe throwing and/or mini golf event. Learn more about team building on our Team Building and Corporate Events page.
How many lanes do you have?
We have two lanes for axe throwing using standard axes. We also have one kid-friendly axe lane using plastic axes.
How many throwers can be on one lane?
Up to six players may be on a lane.
Will we get our own lane?
Yes, unless you want to share and make new friends!
Do you accept walk-ins?
We do accept walk-ins if there is availability, but it’s always best to book online to assure availability for axe throwing.
